i'm on and off, struggling, and it's driving me crazy

I'm 37 y/o male, 5'9, 220lbs. I work different shifts every day (standing on my feet or running around) and doing grad school part-time. I come back from work really tired and my feet hurt.

I have family and kids, so my life is pretty hectic. I'm trying to find a good routine and sticking well with it. And to put in context, last year, I started the 22 Min Hard Corps, completed 1 cycle (8 weeks) and surprisingly lost inches, used portion control using the Beachbody containers. Worked well, but I slipped considerably because of school and stress, now I'm back to square one! But I admit, when I'm stressed, studying and during exams, I tend to eat lots of junk!

I know getting into shape requires tremendous discipline, but with hectic life, and at that age I feel I missed the boat a long time ago! Now thinking about working out, even if it's just 22 mins, makes me uncomfortable. Getting fit is always in the back of my head, but apparently it has never been my number 1 priority. What are your experiences at older ages and with other responsibilities?
