The 23-year-old Indian track and field athlete Neeraj Chopra created history at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 on August 7 by bagging a gold medal in the Javelin Throw final with his magnificent throw of 87.58 meters. Soon after this, the whole nation is on its feet to celebrate Neeraj's amazing win. Actor Akshay Kumar is a big sports enthusiast and holds a black belt in martial art combat form, Muay Thai also took to his Twitter handle to laud the star of the nation at a moment, Neeraj Chopra, and congratulated him for his historic win. He tweeted, 'It’s a GOLD. Heartiest Congratulations. @Neeraj_chopra1 on creating history. You’re responsible for a billion tears of joy! Well done #NeerajChopra! #Tokyo2020.' However, this tweet invited a meme fest on social media as well. Yes! After Akshay Kumar dropped a congratulatory tweet, social media got flooded with hilarious memes wherein netizens are joking about Akshay Kumar's 'new film', based on the Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra's life. Well, this made Akshay trending on social media. While one Twitter user shared a throwback photo of Akshay wherein he can be seen holding a wooden stick and tweeted, 'Leaked picture of Akshay Kumar from the sets of #NeerajChopra's biopic', the other one shared a picture of a man all in sweat and wrote, 'Akshay Kumar deciding whether he'll be men's hockey team coach or Neeraj Chopra in the next film.'
