Following the release of Netflix's biggest release, "Navarasa" Anthology, the controversies are also back in Tamil Industry. Navarasa anthology is based on the taste of 9 emotions and it brought the entire Tamil industry under one roof. The controversial dialogue was spoken by YG Mahendran in the episode "Summer of 92". YG will be saying, "He might look like a Pig, but in reality, he is just a Dog!".

This dialogue seems to be targeting a particular caste and everyone wonders how Maniratnam accepted this. Directed by priyadarshan, "Summer of 92" is a comedy genre among the 9 emotions, and this featured yogi Babu, Nedumudi Venu, ramya Nambeesan and many others. The director has made many attempts to bring in comedy, but still, we never get laughter even in a single place. 


Netizens not only saw the verses spoken by YG mahendran in the film but also compared the controversial verses that YG mahendran spoke many times in his real life as well. Regardless of whether the new release is a big film or not, the caste issues should be dealt in a sensitive manner or else several questions will come up. Will mani ratnam answer these questions? or Will priyadarshan answer? It remains to be seen on Netflix Volume II.
