Maruti Suzuki has continued to best other carmakers by bagging eight out of the top 10 sales, while Hyundai and Tata have occupied the remaining slots. Just like the previous month the Maruti Suzuki WagonR, Swift and Baleno have marked the top three spots. The Hyundai Creta and Tata Nexon are the only models from their respective lineup that have made it up to the top 10 sales spots this July.
Although the Alto has managed to rank in the top sales list, it's the only model that has seen a sales drop (of 6 percent -- 787 units), as compared to the previous year’s sales figures.
Elsewhere, the Hyundai Creta has crawled its way up to fifth position with a growth of 13 percent, while the Tata Nexon sits ninth in the ranking with the highest growth of 138 percent. Both figures in comparison with July 2020.
