Plywood manufacturers association join hands with CICU to strengthen industrial firms in Punjab

Ludhiana, Aug 7 (KNN) In a bid to strengthen industrial firms, the Punjab Plywood Manufacturers Association (PPMA) has joined hands with the Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU).
President of PPMA Inderjit Singh Sohal on Friday said that the industry is passing through a crucial time. Post Covid-19, the industry is not running as per expectations. Moreover, there are a number of issues with the state and Central government, which need to be resolved.
''On priority, the major issues related to GST, Punjab Housing and Urban Development, PSPCL, PPCB and Custom Department have to unite,'' he added.
Mr Sohal said that CICU is one of the most professional and meaningful associations, which always fights for the cause of industry. ''PPMA is honoured to be associated with CICU and will extend its whole-hearted support to CICU for the betterment of the industry.''
CICU President S Upkar Singh Ahuja, its General Secretary Pankaj Sharma and Organizing Secretary Honey Sethi thanked Mr Sohal, along with their team members, for joining hands for the betterment of the industry.
