Former Home and Away star Stephen Peacocke says he's 'one of Australia's most fortunate actors' who has found work in the past 12 months during the pandemic - ahead of new drama RFDS
Home and Away's Steve Peacocke recognises he is one of a few actors who have been fortunate enough to have secured work during the Covid pandemic.
The 39-year-old, remember for his role as Darryl Braxton, told The Daily Telegraph on Saturday: 'I feel like one of Australia's most fortunate actors for sure.'
He is set to star in Channel Seven's RFDS, which focuses on the lives of the doctors and nurses of the Royal Flying Doctors Services.

Aside from the medical drama, the Logie-winner will also star in two other local TV shows, ABC's The Newsreader and Five Bedrooms on Paramount+.
He added: 'I was talking to my rep overseas and they were saying "My gosh, you are one of the few actors who's worked solidly for twelve months in a pandemic."'
The actor had nothing but praise for the crew and his co-stars, including Justine Clarke, Rob Collins, and Emma Hamilton, who he had bonded with during their four month long shoot in the outback.
Stephen also revealed he was already on set working on his next project, as well as eyeing a few other roles.

While RFDS, is still a few days away from premiering on Australian screens, the gripping medical show has already been snapped up internationally.
TV Tonight reported on Wednesday that RFDS has already 'secured sales in six territories.'

The highly anticipated drama has been bought by PBS in the United States and Channel 4 in the UK.
It has also been sold to New Zealand’s TVNZ, TV4 in Sweden, Belgium’s SBS and Talpa in the Netherlands.
RFDS premieres Wednesday, August 11, at 8:40pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus
