Chandigarh, August 6

The Punjab Government has fetched investments worth Rs 91,000 crore in over 2,900 project proposals received during the past four years. Nearly 50 per cent of the projects have already begun commercial production in different parts of the state.

During a meeting with a delegation of JK Paper Ltd, Chief Secretary Vini Mahajan said a hi-tech valley in Ludhiana had already attracted prominent industry players. — TNS
