Patna, Aug 7 (UNI) Former MLA from Jagdishpur Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha who had quit JD( U) following denial of party ticket during Bihar assembly election and had joined Lok Janshakti Party today returned to the JD(U).
An announcement in this connection was made at the party office in presence of its newly
elected national president Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh and party parliamentary board chairman Upendra Kushwaha.
On this occasion Mr Singh said that Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha had served JD( U) since long
and his return to the fold would help in strengthening the party.
Mr Singh said that he would discuss each and every issue with the party leaders in the
districts and nobody would be ignored in the movement launched to further strengthen the
party for putting it at the front runner in the political scenario.
Mr Singh categorically cleared that JD (U) was major constituent alliance partner of NDA and
if the NDA considered it as part of the alliance during Assembly Elections of Uttar Pradesh and
other states it would prefer to contest as an NDA partner otherwise the party would enter into
the electoral battle of Uttar Pradesh at its own.
