Door to door delivery of fertilizers, a good initiative by Govt, says RK Anand

Imphal, August 06 2021: State Executive member of BJP Manipur Pradesh and former MLA of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC, RK Anand lauded the Government for initiating house to house delivery of urea fertilizers to farmers across the State to ensure that farmers receive their due share of fertilizers.

He commended the Government's initiative while speaking on the sidelines where he provided dinner to inmates of Community Home Isolation Centre (CHIC) opened at Malom Mega High School yesterday.

RK Anand said that he will continue to work earnestly to fight against the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic along with the support from the residents of the AC, the Chief Minister and other officials of the Government.

He continued that under the mission 'War on Corona Virus', Coordinating Committee Naoriya Pakhanglakpa has also been striving continuously to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lauding the various preventive measures taken up by the Central and State Government against the deadly, pandemic, he also stressed on the importance of public's support towards the cause.

He also commended the BJP led State Govt for extending support to the AC amid this difficult time of the pandemic in the absence of an MLA.

Speaking about the hardships of the farmers due to shortage of fertilizers and scanty rainfall this season, he said that in association with Coordinating Committee Naoriya Pakhanglakpa, he has been working for the welfare of the farmers in the AC thereby providing them fertilizers and other items in subsidized rates from time to time to lessen their burden.

He also stated that the Government's initiative of providing fertilizers to farmers at their doorstep is in the interest of the farmers especially during this difficult time of COVID-19 pandemic.

It may also be mentioned that RK Anand in coordination with locals of the AC have been providing relief items to various localities which are in containment zones of the constituency.

And various mass Covid vaccination and testing programmes have also been organised to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic effectively in the AC .
