Tea tree oil is rich in anti-microbial properties which may help in getting rid of dandruff. All you have to do is dilute tea tree oil by adding 2-3 drops to a carrier oil like coconut oil before directly applying to the scalp.

The anti-bacterial properties present in aloe vera gel is beneficial in the treatment of dandruff. Extract aloe vera gel from leaves of aloe vera plant. Gently apply the gel to your scalp and hair and let it sit for 30 minutes. Use a mild shampoo to rinse the gel off and repeat this process 2 times a week for best results.

Apple cider vinegar helps in removing dead skin cells. Dilute 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with water and fill it in an empty shampoo bottle. Spray it directly onto your hair and leave it for 30 minutes. Wash off your hair with a mild shampoo.

Baking soda has anti-fungal property which is beneficial in the treatment of dandruff. Try applying baking soda directly to wet hair and massage it into your scalp. Let it sit for a minute or two, then continue shampooing your hair as usual.

To use neem oil to get rid of dandruff naturally, you have to dilute equal parts of neem oil with almond oil and gently massage into the roots of the hair and scalp. Let it sit for 30 minutes before washing your hair. This is a great natural cleanser.

Lemon juice is acidic and therefore breaks down the fungus responsible for causing dandruff. Massage your scalp with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and let it sit for a minute. Mix a tablespoon of lemon juice with a cup of water and rinse your hair with it before washing your hair using a mild shampoo.

Soak fenugreek seeds in water for overnight. In morning, mash the seeds to make a paste and mix 2 tablespoons of lemon juice to it. Apply the paste to your scalp and leave it for 30 minutes. Wash it off using a mild shampoo.
