Meghalaya Board of School Education declares results of HSSLC Examination for Arts Stream

St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong once again bagged the first position in the top 10 list of the HSSLC Exam-2021.

Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) today declared the results of the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examination for Arts Stream. St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong once again bagged the first position in the top 10 list of the HSSLC Exam-2021.

Daniel Ksanbor Khyriemmujat of St. Anthony Higher Secondary School secured a total of 462 marks to take the lead. L. Kennedy Vaiphei of St. Edmund’s Higher Secondary School took second and Jethro Jarvis Roy Jyrwa of St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School got third position. A total of 25,683 students appeared and 20,740 cleared the examination with a pass percentage of 80.75.

Meanwhile, results of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination was also declared this morning. The Class X results were full of surprises as schools like St. Thomas H.S. School, Mairang (West Khasi Hills district) and Sawlyngdoh H.S. School of Mowkaiaw (West Jaintia Hills district) beat prominent schools in Shillong to bag the first two positions.

Kevinstrong Lawriniang, of St. Thomas Higher Secondary School, Mairang emerged as the topper securing 576 marks out of 600. Wanteibok Pator of Sawlyngdoh Higher Secondary School, Mowkaiaw, bagged the second position securing 575 marks followed by Kashish Samee of St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong and Mridumay Saha of Sherwood School, Tura (West Garo Hills district) who jointly secured third place with 574 marks. 64,269 students appeared for the Class X Exam and 34,003 passed with 52.91 pass percentage.
