Kyle Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson get into a heated debate over whether or not parents WANT their children to be transgender
Kyle Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson got into a heated debate over transgender children on Thursday's episode of their KIIS FM radio show.
Things kicked off after the pair discussed a transgender muppet in the children's series Muppet Babies.
Jackie, 46, was a passionate defender of the progressive storyline, saying that it was 'great for kids out there who want to do that and are happier in themselves being that person.'

She continued: 'It's such a great thing to show them that it's okay, no one's going to judge you, it's accepted now in today's society.'
Jackie later said that she 'would honestly not care' if she had a transgender child.

Kyle said that he wouldn't care either, but added that nobody actively wants their child to be transgender.
However, openly-gay newsreader Brooklyn Ross disagreed with Kyle, saying optimistically that 'some people' might want their children to be trans.

'You're saying it like it's the worst thing that anyone can possibly do!' Brooklyn added.
'Grow up,' Kyle snapped. 'Listen to the actual words. The truth is, no one DESIRES when they're pregnant, "I hope my baby's transgender." They don't.'
Kyle, Jackie, and Brooklyn then all agreed that it's because transgender children 'have a harder life'.
'I'm not against it,' Kyle clarified, before adding that he also wouldn't have a problem having a gay son either.

Brooklyn said that he agreed with Kyle, and also added that he didn't think the transgender muppet on Muppet Babies would influence anybody to become trans.
'I grew up seeing so much straight stuff on TV,' Brooklyn said. 'I turned out gay. You don't get influenced by that s**t!
You are what you are no matter what you see on TV,' he added.
'Yeah, that's true, you're right Brooklyn,' Kyle said, before revealing that he once 'dabbled' with a transsexual.
