Twelve IT distributors and channel partners of Schneider Electric earned recognition in the 2020 APC Channel Awards for excellence in sales, innovation, and value creation.
The APC Channel Awards consists of 12 categories, of which three adopted a public voting during judging process. The three categories are Distributor Sales Champion of the Year, Distributor Technical Champion of the Year, and Distributor People’s Choice of the Year.
Schneider Electric says two new categories were introduced. Partner Spotlight of the Year acknowledges the partner’s agility and brand awareness raising. Distributor People’s Choice of the Year recognises hardworking individuals behind the scenes, responsible for providing APC channel partners with excellent support. This includes ensuring information about the APC products and services are accessible.
Schneider Electric vice president IT business and strategic segments Joe Craparotta congratulated all winners.
“2020 proved to be an extraordinary year for the IT industry that highlighted the power of collaboration, agility and resilience in the channel ecosystem. We saw a rise of informal collaborations among our key partners, which enabled them to deliver substantial value for our customers, despite the tumultuous year we had,” Craparotta says.
“We feel proud of all entrants this year, who have displayed dedication and competence through their achievements and business practices. We would also like to thank and honour every one of our channel partners and distributions for their unwavering support,” he adds, praising everyone for their good work.
channHighlights of the winners this year include High Technology Control (HTC), the winner of Partner Spotlight of the year, for its contribution to the delivery cooling solutions to support both IT and Industrial Edge installations.
Schneider also revealed that in 2021, a new award category would be introduced, the MSP Partner of the Year, along with a matching new program to enable Managed Service Providers, who are specialists to help customers to minimise the risk of interruption to business due to technology failures.
“We pride ourselves on being a vendor that prioritises partnerships, supports partners’ growth, and recognises those who actively engage with our broader ecosystem and are creating massive value for our customers,” concludes Craparotta.
