Indian cricketer Virat Kohli opened about the first-ever meeting with his wife Anushka Sharma and revealed what really got them connected.
In an interview with fellow cricketer Dinesh Karthik, who is currently leading the Indian Cricket Team for the Test series in England, Kohli talked about his first meeting. Kohli said that he was joking around with everyone and with Anushka as well, which broke the ice as it helped them to connect. After which she said that it was the first time she saw someone around her joking about the things she has experienced as a child. So, that really connected, said Kohli.
Besides talking about his first meeting with Anushka Sharma, Virat spoke about his father. He said that he wishes his father would have been alive to experience the happiness of being with a grandchild and to give his blessings to their daughter Vamika.
Earlier too, Kohli had revealed about his first meeting with Anushka on the talk show In Depth With Graham Bensinger. He had said he resorted to cracking jokes as he was nervous.
In 2013, the love blossomed between Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, when the two stars met for a commercial shoot for a shampoo brand.
Fondly known as Virushka, the couple is always showered with immense love by their fans. They made their relationship official in 2014. Much later, rumours of their split appeared to be confirmed when Kohli posted a selfie, captioned as Heartbroken. However, later Kohli deleted the photo. Subsequently, through social media posts, it was revealed that the couple was back together.
In December 2017, Virushka had a destination wedding in Italy’s Tuscany. Their intimate wedding made fans so crazy. The couple welcomed their first child, Vamika, in January this year.
