    Indian Oil Corp. shares drop 1.57% as Sensex rises

    Synopsis

    A total of 775,037 shares changed hands on the counter till 02:09PM (IST)

    Analysts see 15,900 to continue to pose as the immediate resistance.
    Shares of the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. traded at Rs 103.65 on BSE at 02:09PM (IST) on Thursday, down 1.57 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 71.35 and a high of Rs 117.85.

    Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

    At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 3.83 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 27.11 per share and 0.79 times its book value, as per BSE data.

    The scrip has been an underperformer , up 19.62 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 42.06 per cent gain in Sensex.

    During the day, the stock moved between Rs 104.8 and Rs 102.6.

    Promoters held 51.5 per cent in the company as of 30-Jun-2021. FII and MF ownership in Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. stood at 6.7 per cent and 4.05 per cent, respectively.
