LAHARIGHAT, Aug 4: Three fake money makers and a drug dealer were arrested in Laharighat on Tuesday. A police team led by Laharighat police station in-charge Adit Boro managed three people involved in the fake money trade. The arrested fake note makers are Ikramul Islam, Babul Islam and Mazharul Islam respectively. One Hefizur Rahman was also netted on drug trafficking charges.  

40 medicines were seized from the arrested drug supplier. The Laharighat police registered a case of 493/2021 under section 420-489 (A, B, C, D) 34 IPC and booked the drug trafficker under 21(C) NDPS ACT on 489/2021 and they were later sent to Morigaon Jail.
