The Samajwadi Party will win 400 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh assembly polls 2022, the SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said on Thursday after holding a cycle yatra in Lucknow on the occasion of Samajwadi Party leader Janeshwar Mishra’s birth anniversary.
The Samajwadi Party is holding state-wide cycle yatra today to mark protest against the anti-people policies of the ruling BJP such as fuel price hike, inflation, unemployment, farm laws, rising crime and to demand release of jailed party leader Azam Khan.
Addressing a press conference before holding Cycle Yatra from Samajwadi Party headquarter in Lucknow on Thursday, Yadav said that the BJP is full of criminals, for them politics is a business and they make Moneyfesto not Manifesto. He also alleged that the BJP government did not help people during Covid and there have been a large number of deaths.
Yadav said that the residents of Uttar are angry and also upset with incumbent BJP govt because the govt has cheated the people. He also alleged that the BJP has oppressed and harassed Brahmins, Dalits and Muslims in the state.
Yadav also slammed the BJP govt for inaugurating the work done by Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh and said the BJP is confused while trying to confuse the people.
Responding to the BJP’s claim that the Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh is the number one state of the country, Akhilesh Yadav said that the government claims to be number one in the advertisements, in malnutrition, in dead bodies on the banks of Ganga, in taking off shroud from the dead bodies, in unable to give oxygen to the people of the state and in rising unemployment in the state.

Yadav also said that the state has also become number one in beating youth who ask for employment, in crimes against women and in deaths due to Covid mismanagement in the state.
