After removal from Chief Secy's post, Khachi takes premature retirement

Shimla, Aug 5 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Secretary Anil Kumar Khachi -- who was removed from his post and appointed as the State Election Commissioner (SEC) -- took premature retirement on Thursday.
A notification issued by the Additional Chief Secretary Personal said that Governor of Himachal Pradesh ordered the retirement of Anil Kumar Kachi (a 1986 batch IAS), Chief Secretary in the Government of Himachal at his own request with effect from the date he relinquishes the charge of state Government.
The notification also said that order was passed relaxing the condition of three months prior notice under the second provision of rule 16(2) of All India Service rules-1958.
Another notification issued by the Additional CS said that he would be replaced by the 1987-batch IAS and Additional CS Ram Subhag Singh, who was holding the charge of Industries, Transport and employment in the government.
Additional Chief Secretary R D Dhiman (1988 batch IAS) holding charge of power and language, art and culture department took Additional Charge of industries and labour and employment and similarly Additional CS Jagdish Chander (1991 batch IAS), Secretary Excise, Taxation and Information Department took additional charge of transport, managing director ropeways, Rapid Transport System Development Corporation relieving Subhag Singh from this charge.
