AMBALA: The police on Thursday arrested a man allegedly for murdering his cousin sister in Lalpur village of Naraingarh block in Ambala district.
The arrested accused has been identified as Praveen of Lalpur village, who would be produced before the court on Friday.

Sanjeev Kumar of Lalpur village had lodged a complaint at Naraingarh police station on Wednesday, alleging that his uncle's son
Praveen Kumar murdered his sister Komal (27) at their residence.
During the preliminary investigation, accused Praveen disclosed to the police that he was not happy with Komal's engagement to Sahil of Tapria village, which is just about one and a half kilometre away from their Lalpur village.
"On Wednesday, when all the family members of Komal had gone to talk about her engagement with Sahil at a brick kiln in the area, Praveen indulged in a heated argument with Komal over her engagement with Sahil. When Komal did not accept the argument of Praveen, he attacked her with a rod. Komal died from the injury after some time and Praveen fled the spot", said Naraingarh police
station house officer (SHO) Dhoom Singh.
SHO Dhoom said that the post-mortem of deceased Komal was conducted on Thursday, and her body has been handed over to her family members.
He added that accused Praveen would be produced in the court on Friday, and his remand will be sought for recovery of rod and other investigation.
