Dhaiya at one point of a time was down by 9-2 but he cameback to pin the Kazakh wrestler to stun everyone. India by virtue of Ravi’s exploits have now secured minimum 1 silver medal. Dhaiya will now play RUSSIA’s World Champion in the category – ZAVUR UGUEV. But Ravi’s good friend Deepak Punia was easily beaten in 86 kg freestyle category semifinals by David Taylor of USA.
