Beauty and the Geek winner Lachlan Mansell announces quest to find love during lockdown - and you'll never guess how he plans on doing it
Lachlan Mansell was crowned the winner of Beauty and the Geek on Tuesday night, alongside his partner Keira Johnstone.
And on Thursday, Lachlan, 32, took the opportunity to thank his many admirers on social media for the 'lovely' messages they've sent him - before announcing his quest to find love during lockdown.
'Hi everyone, Lachy here, as you can see I'm back to reality today, back in work mode', the Motorsports PR agency owner said from his home office.

'Just wanted to thank everybody for their lovely messages and comments.
'I'm sorry I haven't been able to respond to all of you, there's just been so many,' he continued.

'Unfortunately because we're in lockdown in Sydney at the moment I can't go out to meet any of you in person,' Lachlan said.

'Don't despair! Because what I'm going to do instead is virtual speed dating,' he added warmly, captioning the clip 'Virtual Speed Dating time!'
Lachlan then asked his fans to send in any questions they want to ask the reality show winner directly and explained he'd answer them through his Instagram.
Lachlan previously spoke to Daily Mail Australia and revealed that while he preferred to meet someone 'face to face,' he was open to sparking a romance if someone was to slide into his DMs.

On Tuesday, Lachlan was crowned the winner of Beauty and the Geek alongside his partner Keira Johnstone.
The couple were chosen after receiving the most votes from the previously eliminated contestants.
