Xiaomi is all set to introduce its Mi Mix 4 on August 10 and ahead of the announcement, CEO Lei Jun took to Weibo to share some teasers for the device. The first one shows the device’s silhouette alongside the August 10 launch date. The teaser confirms Mix 4’s uninterrupted display which is expected to have an under-display camera (UDC).

The second official teaser hints at ultra wideband (UWB) coming to the Mix 4. The poster is titled “new technology, new understanding” and shows the Mix 4 pointed toward a TV. UWB is a more advanced version of Bluetooth which offers centimeter-level precision locating of smart devices.

In related news, tipster Ice Universe shared an image of what is believed to be a microscopic close-up of the Mi Mix 4’s display. We can see the pixel arrangement between the UDC area and the rest of the screen is quite similar sporting a so-called pearl arrangement. The tipster claims Xiaomi’s solution is better-optimized than competing options from Oppo and ZTE.
