NEW DELHI: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, in a letter written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has said Bengal needs around 14 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine. The chief minister wrote that only the said amount of doses will be able to cover all the people in Bengal who are eligible for vaccination. Banerjee, in the letter, also said that the Covid situation may turn grim if the supply of vaccine is not augmented in her state.
