India registers over 40K fresh Covid cases for 2nd day in a row; active cases crawl up to 4.11 lakh

New Delhi, Aug 05: India on Thursday reported 42,982 new COVID19 cases and 533 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per the Union Health Ministry.

A total of 41,726 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, which brings the total recoveries to 3,09,74,748 across the country.

The country's active caseload now stands at 4,11,076 while in the last 24 hours.
