    ACC shares down 0.65% as Nifty falls

    The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 2456.4 and low of Rs 1289.7.

    Shares of Ltd. rose 0.65 per cent to Rs 2382.0 in Thursday's trade. It hit an intraday high of Rs 2412.6 and low of Rs 2376.0, respectively, during the day.

    As of 10:31AM (IST), the counter saw total traded volume of 6,472 shares with a traded value of Rs 1.55 crore, according to NSE.

    The stock had closed at Rs 2397.6 in the previous session.

    The scrip has advanced 20.13 per cent in the past one month till date, while the benchmark BSE Sensex has gained 2.54 per cent during the same period.

    According to exchange data, the stock traded at a price-to-earnings (P/E) multiple of 22.78 while price-to-book ratio stood at 2.4. A higher P/E ratio shows that investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations. The price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and it reflects the price investors are ready to pay even for no growth in a business.

    Promoters held 50.05 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2021, while FII and MF ownership in the firm stood at 13.57 per cent and 8.46 per cent, respectively.

    The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 3930.49 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2021, down 9.35 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 4335.94 crore and down 48.12 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 2653.52 crore. Its net profit for the latest quarter stood at Rs 569.42 crore, up 110.18 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
