Vehicles (VECV) announced that it had delivered 50, 24-seater Eicher CNG AC
Buses to Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML). These buses were
flagged off in Mahatma Phule Mandai, Pune by Devendra Fadnavis, former CM of
Maharashtra and Chandrakant Patil, BJP President, Maharashtra.
The
environment-friendly passenger vehicles will operate in central Pune - Deccan
to Pulgate, Swargate to Pune Station and Swargate to Shivajinagar.
Eicher CNG Buses
are packed with best-in-class technology. They are developed on Eicher’s latest
innovative BSVI solution, EUTECH 6; powered with the robust and reliable E483
CNG engines; delivering 115 HP @2600 rpm and peak torque of 360 Nm@1600-2000
rpm. VECV offers Starline and Skyline Pro CNG chassis.
The buses come
equipped with Eicher Live, India’s leading telematics solution connected in
real-time with Eicher Uptime Centre, which provides remote bus monitoring and
predictive diagnosis to reduce abrupt breakdowns. The compact size and turning
radius of this 24-seater AC bus will be ideal for navigating on congested
narrow roads.
