Japan's imports of clothing and accessories increased by 4 per cent year-on-year to 1,315.159 billion yen ($11.93 billion) in the first half (H1) of calendar year 2021. Of this, 92.95 per cent or 1,222.512 billion yen ($11.09 billion) worth of goods were imported from Asia, according to the provisional trade statistics released by the ministry of finance.
