The Duchess of York is defending her son-in-law, Jack Brooksbank, after he was photographed partying with a trio of women in Capri. This, as Princess Eugenie stayed home in Windsor, having given birth to baby August in February.
In photos obtained by The Daily Mail, the brand ambassador for Casamigos tequila was seen boating, swimming and sipping rosé in the Mediterranean, reports E! News, ahead of the Unicef Summer Gala. Also with him was models Erica Pelosini and Maria Buccellati, as well as former Glamour magazine editor and now Casamigos's global director Rachel Zalis.
After the photos surfaced, Sarah Ferguson told BBC One's The One Show her son-in-law was "just doing his job" as brand ambassador, per E! News. "Jack, who was on the front page, is a man of such integrity," she said. "He's just one of my most favourite people. I call him James Bond, actually."
She said: "He's just a superhero in my book, and he's a great father, a fabulous husband, and he's never at front of house, he always likes to be at the back," before adding: "So for them to make this story is completely fabricated. He works as an ambassador for Casamigos, and he was doing his job, and so I think it's really important that we clarify that for Jack's sake."
