2021 Tata Tiago NRG launched at Rs 6.46 lakh

NEW DELHI: Tata Motors on Wednesday launched the NRG variant of Tiago hatchback.
Tiago NRG will be available in 1.2-litre petrol engine in both 5-speed manual and automatic variants at Rs 6.46 lakh and Rs 7.09 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.
Tiago NRG was discontinued during BS4 to BS6 transition. With 4-star safety rating by GNCAP, this vehicle will be launched in 4 colours – Foresta Green, Fire Red, Snow White, Cloudy Grey.
Mechanically, the NRG variant is 10 mm higher than regular variant with 181 mm ground clearance. The NRG edition also sports muscular body cladding.
The interior gets all-black cabin and NRG packs 7-inch touch infotainment. Connectivity suite includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
In terms of safety, Tiago NRG gets 2 airbags, ABS + EBD, reverse parking sensors and camera, and cornering stability control. NRG will come with 2 years/75,000 km warranty.
Tata Tiago NRG will compete with Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and Maruti Suzuki Swift.
