Observations from Giants training camp on Wednesday.
Family matters
After a rare evening practice, one field turned into a large family reunion. Wives and kids of players and coaches took the field to get hugs and play tag with their Giants.
Peace offering
A day after a large brawl incensed head coach Joe Judge, there was peace in our time. When TE Evan Engram caught a pass over the middle and was inadvertently knocked down by CB Sam Beal, there was a pause before Beal reached down to help Engram up off the grass.
Caught my eye
Former Giants QB Phil Simms chatted for a few minutes before practice with Judge and got a nice round of applause after addressing the team after the workout. Simms, Judge and offensive coordinator Jason Garrett spoke extensively following the practice.

Medical report
TE Levine Toilolo was carted off with a torn Achilles tendon, ending his season. LG Shane Lemieux returned after missing less than a week with a knee issue. DB Montre Hartage left the field with what looked like a hand injury.
