Pakistan has not won any medals so far at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

But Arshad Nadeem, a 24-year-old javelin thrower, has rekindled hope by securing a spot in the final round. Nadeem, who won his group on Wednesday ahead of the likes of Jakub Vadlejch from the Czech Republic and Julian Weber from Germany, will now participate in the medal round on August 7.
