Aug 4 (Reuters) - The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has appointed Brunei's second minister for foreign affairs, Erywan Yusof, as special envoy to Myanmar, a communique from the bloc confirmed on Wednesday. The envoy's role will be to build trust and confidence among parties and to provide a clear timeline on the implementation of the "five-point consensus" to resolve the crisis in the country, the communique released after a meeting of ASEAN foreign ministers said.
