Shock jock Kyle Sandilands has recalled the humiliating moment he was exposed for lying to his co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson about kissing Isla Fisher while she was starring on Home And Away in the nineties.
Discussing the embarrassing incident on Wednesday's radio show, the 50-year-old confessed: 'I got exposed. Jackie exposed me telling a lie.'
'When I worked in Queensland years ago, [Isla Fisher] got sent up to Mackay where I as working at the radio station. I had to drive her around from thing to thing, and we got a Paddle Pop and we ate it at the beach,' Kyle explained.

He continued: 'And I made up this big lie when I first met Jackie that I'd made out with [Isla] on the beach, and really did the full deal. I didn't go into detail, but I was giving the impression to Jackie that, "Yeah I'm banging celebrities, always have been".
'[It was a] bulls**t story, right. Total lie,' he declared.
Years went by before Kyle's fib finally caught up to him during a live radio interview with Isla herself.

'I'd forgotten all about the lie until years later when Isla Fisher popped up married to Sacha Baron Cohen, one of the biggest stars in the world, and Jackie brings it up with her,' Kyle lamented.
'And then all the blood drained out of my body. I felt that I had a wound on the bottom of my foot and all my blood was pouring onto the floor. I was mortified. I'd come unstuck!'
Jackie insisted that she didn't bring up the alleged 'kiss' because she thought Kyle was lying.

'[I asked] because Kyle tells the story so fondly!' she laughed.
To Kyle's horror, Jackie proceeded to play an audio clip of the moment Kyle was confronted with his lie during that fateful interview with Isla.
Isla could be heard giggling awkwardly while explaining that she did remember eating banana Paddle Pop ice creams with Kyle on the beach, but that she had no recollection of any romantic activity.

Rubbing salt on Kyle's wounds, Jackie mused: 'Makes you question all the other celebrities you've said you slept with.'
'That was an early lie!' Kyle spluttered.
'The other ones I've slept with. I've rooted them all!'
