Honda Cars India has commenced pre-launch bookings for the facelifted Amaze for a token amount of Rs 21,000. You can book the facelifted sedan via the official website or through your nearest Honda dealership. Ahead of its launch on August 18, 2021, the Japanese carmaker has given us a sneak peek of the sedan’s refreshed design elements.
The changes, however, are quite subtle so you’ll have to take a good look at the facelifted Amaze to spot them. The sedan gets new LED projector headlamps with DRLs, LED C-shaped elements in the tail lamps, and 15-inch alloy wheels from the fourth-gen Honda City. No changes have been made to the sheet metal and silhouette of the sub-4 metre sedan.
Honda is yet to reveal the interior, but we suspect it will come with new colour schemes and upholstery.
The facelifted sedan should retain most of the features from the pre-facelift Amaze, including touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, steering-mounted audio controls, cruise control, a multi-info display, and keyless entry with push-button start.
Safety should be taken care of by dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors with a camera.
No changes will be made under the hood. The sedan will continue to utilise the 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines from the existing model. Both engines can be specced with manual and automatic transmissions. Take a quick look at the detailed specifications:
