Faridkot, Aug 4 (UNI) A local court granted bail to two Dera Sacha Sauda followers in the 2015 Bargari Sacrilege Case.
The court of Judicial Magistrate Tar Jani allowed the bail applications of Nishan Singh and Pardeep Kumar on Tuesday who were arrested by the SIT for 2015 Bargari Sacrilege Case. The SIT has
already filed a chargesheet against six Dera followers including Nishan and Pardeep.
On October, 2015 torn pages of Bir of Sri Guru Granth Sahib which was stolen from Burj Jawahar Singh Wala village Gurudwara were found scattered near a Bargari Gurudwara and the SIT claims that it was the handwork of the Dera Men.
The court directed the accused to furnish a bail bond of Rs 90,000 each besides one surety
of the like amount each. While granting the bail, the judicial magistrate said the accused will have
to attend the court on every date of hearing and in case they failed to do so, their bail will be cancelled.
The court also said the accused will not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case and will not temper with evidence. They will not leave the country without prior permission of the court.
