Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 is now confirmed to launch on August 10, just a few days from now. The company officially broke the news via a Weibo post in which it shared a poster showing the launch date and the name of the device clearly.
Leaked footage of a display panel also emerged in the meantime, showing off the under-display selfie camera tech. The tipster @chunvn8888 pulled the video from the source on Weibo to share it with all of us.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 panel leaked. The UPC/UDC is the same punch hole style like the Z Fold3 but the appearance (at least from what Ice said and based on the vid) is not as noticeable as the Z Fold3. Great job Xiaomi!https://t.co/WQPSBwRenj pic.twitter.com/165fs1vqmw

The tipster says the under-display camera tech is similar to the one in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 but looks better executed and not apparent.
Furthermore, recently, a leak also showcased alleged live images of the Mi MIX 4 frame. The image is said to have been obtained from the supplier’s factory.
As per the report, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 has three sensors housed beneath the display – selfie, light sensor, of course, a fingerprint scanner.
Notably, Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will launch just a day ahead of Samsung’s Unpacked event where Galaxy Z Fold 3 will launch.
Mi MIX 4 is expected to feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with an AMOLED panel and curved edges. It is said to be powered by Snapdragon 888+ processor and has 5G support, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It might house a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast-charging or 70W/80W wireless charging. On the back, the Mi MIX 4 is said to have triple rear cameras with a 50MP primary sensor, details of the other two sensors are unknown.
