Sharks coach Sean Everitt has made several changes to his side for Friday night's Currie Cup clash against the Bulls in Durban.

The Sharks suffered a 37-27 home loss to Griquas last weekend, leaving them second on the standings behind the Bulls.

Up front, the coach has brought in Khutha Mchunu for Lourens Adriaanse at loosehead prop, and loose forwards Dylan Richardson for James Venter and Henco Venter for Mpilo Gumede.

There are two changes in the backline, with Grant Williams returning in place of Sanele Nohamba at scrumhalf, while Lionel Cronje comes in at flyhalf with Curwin Bosch shifting to fullback in place of Anthony Volmink, who has been named on the bench.

Just eight points separate the top four sides - the Bulls, Sharks, Griquas and Pumas - creating congestion on the log and plenty to play for in the second week of the second round.

Friday's clash at Kings Park is scheduled for 19:00.
