A total of 29 Ministers were included in Karnataka's new cabinet led by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, on Wednesday.
There will be no Chief Ministers this time, and State BJP Vice President BY Vijayendra, younger son of former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa will not be among the ministers, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai earlier.
Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new cabinet ministers at the Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru. There are 8 Linagayats, 7 Vokkaligas, 7 OBCs, 3 Dalits, 1 Scheduled Caste, 1 Reddy in the cabinet and one berth is given to women.

The new cabinet was formed under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President J P Nadda.
Meanwhile, Congress MLA Anjali Nimbalkar took to Twitter and wrote, "The Maratha community is neglected by BJP time and again by denying cabinet representation. They removed only the Maratha minister for no reason and insulted Marathas. Marathas will never forget the use and throw political policy by BJP."
There are several districts that have zero ministers like Mysore, Gulbarga, Kodagu, Bellary, Hassan, Ramanagara, Davangere, Yadgir, Raichur, Vijayapura, Chamarajanagar, Kolar, and Chikmagalur.
