Be it Tokyo or Albany, nobody is better at playing games than the U.S. of A. Closing ceremonies are coming to both cities. Not sure what’s next for the Luv Guv but gotta figure he will not be attending President Obama’s 60th birthday super spreader.

If the Mets are going to win the NL East, they will have to play better on the road. Amazin’s are in Miami. Carlos Carrasco (0-0, 2.25 ERA) made his New York debut against Cincinnati. Got off to a shaky start but settled, limiting the Reds to one run over four frames. The Fish will go with Zach Thompson (2-4, 2.33 ERA). Zach rebounded, shutting out Philly for four innings after the Padres collected three runs over five previously. Play 20 units on the Mets.

The Phillies hit three homers off Patrick Corbin and held off the too-little-too-late Nationals 5-4. Back-to-back losses have us at -1,065 sebastiancoes.
