'Happy Birthday Dad. I love you': Hugh Sheridan pens heartfelt tribute to late father Denis
Hugh Sheridan has penned a heartfelt tribute to his late father Denis, who passed away earlier this year.
On Wednesday, the 36-year-old actor shared a series of photos on Instagram of memories from the past few years.
The gallery of images included pictures from a holiday in Rome, on the set of Play School and together in a dressing room backstage before a show.

'Happy Birthday Dad. I love you,' Hugh wrote in the caption, along with a heart emoji.
The Packed to the Rafters star also added lyrics from the Tim Rogers song Heavy Heart: 'I miss you like sleep. And there's nothing romantic about the hours I keep.'
Hugh's father, who was a veteran swing singer in their home town of Adelaide, lost his battle with cancer in May.

Denis, who last performed in public two months before passing, had been receiving palliative care at Mary Potter Hospice in North Adelaide.
At the time, Hugh shared the heartbreaking news on his Instagram, writing: 'Be free papa.'
They also shared a section of the poem 'Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone' by W H Auden.

'I wasn't opposed to meeting a girl, but it just so happened I met a guy,' the Packed to the Rafters star said, adding they were 'ready for a serious relationship' before meeting Kurt.
