Kabul, Aug 4 (UNI/Xinhua) At least two people were wounded in an explosion near defence facilities in Kabul, capital of Afghanistan on Wednesday, the capital police confirmed.
"An improvised explosive device was detonated roughly at 8:15 a.m. (local time) in Police District 10, injuring two people," Kabul police spokesman Ferdaus Faramarz told reporters via a text message.
The blast occurred in an area near the Kabul airport where several apartment buildings are located.
Meantime, unofficial sources said one national intelligence agency officer was among the wounded.
