Covid-19: M'rashtra reports 6,126 new cases, 157 deaths

Mumbai, Aug 4 (UNI) Maharashtra on Wednesday reported 6,126 fresh Covid-19 patients and 195 fatalities in a single day, taking the state's cumulative case tally to 63,27,194 and the toll to 1,33,410, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said.
On the other hand, 7,436 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 61,17,560.
The state's recovery rate and the fatality rate remained steady at 96.66 per cent and 2.1 per cent, respectively.
There are now 72,810 active cases across the state, added the bulletin.
