
Home-grown flexi workspace provider Awfis has leased about 125,000 sq ft in Hyderabad and Bengaluru and is in the process of leasing another 100,000 sq ft under its premium offering Awfis Gold, Amit Ramani, Founder & CEO, told ET.
The company plans to have 9 gold centres with 5,000 seats this year.
The investment in the premium offering is 25-30% higher than the regular centres and the cost per seat will also increase by 25-30%.
“By the end of this year, we will have 9-10 centres in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, NCR and Kolkata,” said Ramani.
At present, two Gold centres are operational at Rajapushpa Summit, Financial District, Hyderabad and Prestige Shantiniketan – I, Bangalore, respectively, while another one in Bengaluru will be live in a few days.
While the Hyderabad centre has been leased 50%, the centre at Bengaluru has 80% tenancy.
Awfis Gold centres will be available in Grade A properties of metro markets such as Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata.

Awfis has 90 centres and 51,000 seats across 12 cities.
