26 fresh cases, 1.8 lakh get vaccine shot in Haryana

CHANDIGARH: Haryana’s 20 districts, out of total 22, did not report any death from pandemic on Tuesday and 14 did not report any new cases. The state reported 26 cases, two deaths and 19 recoveries during the day.
With fresh stocks of vaccines in, the state managed 1,80,651 vaccinations during the day. It included 1,14,872 first doses and 65,579 second dose. The cumulative Covid coverage of the state has reached 1,23,08,972 doses so far.
On the other hand, the cumulative Covid count of the state has reached 7,69,982 cases, 7,59,633 recoveries, 9,641 deaths and 708 active cases. Of the total active cases, 135 are in home isolation and the rest in hospitals.
Haryana’s cumulative fatality rate remained stable at 1.25%, with Bhiwani and Charki Dadri districts reporting one death each.
While the state reported the positivity rate of the day at 0.12% and positivity rate of second wave was reported to be 9.51%. Haryana’s recovery rate too remained stable at 98.66% and the testing rate at 4,31,611 tests per million population per day.
Meanwhile, Gurgaon will resume Covaxin first doses in government-run centres from Wednesday after a gap of over a month.
