Tokyo Olympics : Khattar congratulates wrestler Ravi Dahiya on reaching finals

Chandigarh, Aug 4 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has congratulated wrestler Ravi Dahiya on reaching the finals of the 57 kg category freestyle wrestling competition at the ongoing Olympic Games in Tokyo and wished him best of luck and hoped that he would win the gold medal for the country.
In a message here, the Chief Minister said, "we sincerely hope that Ravi Dahiya will make the country proud by winning the gold medal."
Mr Khattar today also took out time to watch the semi-final match of women's hockey, despite his busy schedule. He is continuously seeking information regarding the matches in which the players of Haryana are participating in the Tokyo Olympics.
Today, the Chief Minister continued to take updates about wrestling and hockey matches since morning.
Significantly, there are nine players from Haryana in the Indian women's hockey team participating in the Tokyo Olympics. India's women's hockey team reached the semi-finals for the first time in the history of the Olympics.
