Atalanta enter race to sign Chelsea outcast Tammy Abraham with England striker also attracting interest from Arsenal and West Ham... but Aston Villa less likely after signing Danny Ings

  • Atalanta are the latest club to signal an interest in Chelsea's Tammy Abraham
  • Abraham, 23, is also on the radar of Premier League clubs Arsenal and West Ham
  • Another potential option, Aston Villa, signed striker Danny Ings on Wednesday

Atalanta have confirmed their interest in Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.

The Italian side held a meeting this week to assess targets as Inter Milan are keen to sign Atalanta's Duvan Zapata.

Inter want the Colombian as a replacement for Romelu Lukaku who they expect will join Chelsea once their £100m plus valuation is met.

Abraham has interest from Arsenal and West Ham while one of his other options Aston Villa moved to sign Danny Ings from Southampton for £25million on Wednesday.

Chelsea value Abraham at around £40m but Atalanta are expected to offer around £25m plus bonuses for the England striker.

Atalanta are due in London this weekend for a friendly against West Ham and are expected to discuss whether they can afford a proposed move for Abraham.

Chelsea are also looking to send reserve striker Armand Broja out on loan. The 19-year-old has interest from Udinese.
