The app launched a small pilot test of TikTok Stories in various countries outside the United States, the company confirmed.

TikTok Stories posts will expire after a 24-hour period. According to the company rep, they may not become a permanent feature after testing.

“We’re always thinking about new ways to bring value to our community and enrich the TikTok experience. Currently we’re experimenting with ways to give creators additional formats to bring their creative ideas to life for the TikTok community,” the rep told Variety.
