vivo has officially launched the vivo Y53s in the country. This is the company’s latest midrange market in the Y series that is now available in Kenya.
vivo Y53s features a 6.58″ LCD display with a resolution of 1080 by 2408 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. There’s no high refresh rate with the vivo Y53s as the screen is capped at 60Hz.
The back of the vivo Y53s will allow users to match their phone to their look and has been constructed with much consideration of both practicality and aesthetics. It comes in two stunning colours: Deep Sea Blue and Fantastic Rainbow.
vivo Y53s ships with Helio G80 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. vivo Y53s also supports virtual RAM up to 3GB added from the onboard storage when the need arises.
Powering the vivo Y53s is Android 11 and FuntouchOS 11.1.
For photography, vivo Y53 packs a 64MP main camera setup that vivo promises will offer impressive clarity to its consumers. We have two additional cameras including a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor.
The company says that vivo Y53s comes with tailored photography enhancements spread across five aspects, including skin tone, texture, and facial features.
You will be able to adjust the details manually, to create portraits and selfie videos that showcase your unique personality and selves.
vivo Y53s features a 16MP selfie camera supported by an intelligent algorithm that enhances vivo’s expertise in front camera photography.
For lowlight scenarios, vivo Y53 comes with super night mode.
We have face unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometrics.
vivo Y53s will also feature a 5000mAh battery and also support 33W FlashCharge fast charging technology which the company says has the ability to recharge the smartphone up to 70% in just 41 minutes, which is 37% faster than the 18W Fast Charge.
