NEW DELHI: In a bid to become the first ever Indian boxer to advance to the Olympic final, Lovlina Borgohain will take on world champion Busenaz Surmeneli of Turkey in the 69kg semifinal of the Tokyo Olympics on Wednesday. The Indian women's hockey team will also look to make their maiden final when they will be up against Argentina in the semifinals.

8 AM Onwards: Women's Freestyle 57kg 1/8 Final (Anshu Malik vs Iryna Kurachkina of Belarus) - Loses her Round of 16 match, but can become eligible to wrestle in the repechage if Iryna Kurachkina makes it to the final
