Dean Wells has revealed the horrific death threats he received after appearing on Married At First Sight.
The creative director, 43, told ABC he was bombarded with death threats and cruel messages after his season aired in 2018.
'Channel Nine reached out to me and said "Look, Dean, the next few weeks are going to be really intense. We're worried about you... Would you go to Africa? We found a village over there that doesn't have Internet",' he said.

Dean went on to say someone messaged him and threatened to find him, sneak up behind him and cut him 'from heel to mandible'.

In January, Dean revealed how he still receives death threats and attacks from online trolls, three years after his appearance on the show.

Dean posted the cruel message, which read: 'I will hurt you, I will walk up behind you in public stab you from ankle to mandible and watch you bleed.'
The former Married At First Sight star said: 'That's just the tip of the iceberg. There are hundreds of those. I still get them all the time, that's just part of going on TV.'

Dean continued: 'Not one of those people have ever acted on it publicly. They are just sad little pathetic humans that are just too obsessed with a silly TV show.
'Banning or fining them isn't going to change those people from having those feelings.'
'I say let people say whatever they want and anyone that gets offended just needs to suck it up and realise that's just part of living in a free society.'
